Biography
Cass Hastie is an associate at the firm. Her practice includes complex civil litigation in federal and state courts, white-collar defense, internal investigations, and government enforcement matters. She guides individuals and corporations through business disputes, multi-district class actions, government investigations, and matters involving criminal and regulatory exposure.
Prior to joining Aegis, Cass was an associate at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in Washington, DC, where she represented clients in a wide range of civil and criminal matters, including litigation and investigations under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the False Claims Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as biometric data privacy class actions under the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act.

Education
Cass received her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School, where she served as a Symposium Editor of the Michigan Journal of Law Reform and interned for Judge Ronnie Abrams in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. She also holds a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Harvard College. Before law school, Cass spent two years teaching in New York and London.
